U.S. Hospitals Not Safe for Jews

Patients and doctors not safe in U.S. hospitals.

For all of my friends and colleagues- physicians, nurses, patient advocates, innovative health tech start up leaders..... for all the wishers and dreamers that I have shared stages with for years about the "big ideas" and how we can change the face of healthcare....for all of the people who worked years and years through training dedicated to the notions of caring for people, of healing, of health- please stop for one moment, connect to your roots of why you started this crazy profession called healthcare and remember some basics:

There is no #healthequity if patients can not be safe to get care in a hospital.
There is no fighting #physicianburnout when physicians are not safe to go to work at a hospital in the United States.
There is no improving the Patient Experience #ptexp when patients are afraid of getting care in hospitals in the United States of America.
There is no #cancermoonshot when cancer patients are refused safe cancer care at cancer hospitals in the United States of America.
There is no #unblockingdata when patients are not safe to get the basic fundamental care and then share their data.

Please find your voice.
There is NO ROOM FOR HATE IN HEALTHCARE
#NoHateInHealthcare
Do not stay silent.
Do not do nothing.
This could be the most important calling of your healthcare career.
***** Hospitals must be safe zones for all. *****
This can not be negotiated.
No exceptions.
Make our hospitals safe again.

If you are a Jewish healthcare provider, you don't have to go this alone. An amazing group of physicians and providers has created the https://theajma.org/ They are doing a tremendous amount of incredible work for all of us in healthcare around the world. Join via this link.

We've never been able to do this alone, so calling some of the real healthcare heroes I've known for years to ask for help to help make our hospitals, medical schools and clinics safe again for all patients and providers regardless of their race, religion, gender identity or political views. There is no room for hate in healthcare.
